Hidden Gems
A few frequently asked questions, because extras should always be enjoyable
1. What will it cost?
Trials are done within the salon and start from £85 for brides. On your wedding day prices start from £105 for the bride. These prices are for 2025, but please book in your free consultation to discuss your wedding in more detail, where we can create a personalised plan for you and your wedding party.
2. Why Do My Contracts and Terms Arrive in the Post?
My terms and conditions arrive in the post because everyone loves receiving something special in the post. There’s a delightful extra touch to make you feel pampered whilst reading.
3. How Should I Prep My Hair for the Trial?
No need to worry, I’ve got everything covered for you before your wedding hair trial. This comes with an extra special touch because I don’t do things by halves. This guidance is provided exclusively to brides, but I will also send you an image to share with your bridal party so they know how to prepare if they are having a trial too.
4. What Makes My Trial Experience Unique?
My trial experience is designed to be enjoyed with two people. It’s not just about trying out hairstyles – it’s about creating a memorable experience. We can adjust the music, enjoy some lovely refreshments, and bring your vision to life. I’ve got everything covered to make this moment truly special.
5. How Do I Prep My Hair for the Wedding Day?
I’ve got you covered again, Emily-style, with a night-before-the-wedding hair prep box. This is exclusively for brides, but I’ll also provide an image for your bridal party so they know what to do. You can purchase additional hair prep boxes as gift boxes for your bridesmaids if you wish. On your wedding day, you’ll also receive a box to help you remove and care for your hair, ensuring you’re looked after every step of the way. This box is exclusively for brides but can be purchased for anyone in the bridal party. I also try to capture some pictures and videos of you and your bridal party in the morning to send to you after the wedding, preserving those special morning moments.
6. Will you come to where I am getting ready?
Yes! I travel to you on your wedding day. Trials are at my salon, in Appledore, Kent.
7. Do you offer makeup?
I do not offer makeup services, but I know some incredibly talented suppliers, so if you are stuck on a makeup artist, photographer, florist, or other suppliers that you are looking for, I can recommend.
8. Where will the hairdresser and makeup artist set up?
The makeup artist will set up closest to the window for natural lighting. I will set up near electrical sockets. I do bring an extension lead. Clearing space near windows and the electric socket is helpful. Both the hairstylists and makeup artists will need table space.
9. What should I expect during the service?
Each appointment will begin with a thorough consultation. I provide hair touch ups after styling to ensure everyone feels great. Once everyone is looking and feeling fabulous, then I will pack up and head out.
